DONE!

I can't believe I finished the Loon. It was touch and go for a bit! Turns out I can FMQ better when I'm in a zombie like state because of lack of sleep! Not only is it ready to be handed in, but it also counts as a March finish for the Sew Its Finished challenge. Thanks for all your helpful comments they were much appreciated - I felt like I was having a QMD (quilting meltdown) yesterday.

Tonite it's going to be a relaxing evening of couch potatoness!

Happy Stitching

It's magnificent - it'll raise a lot of $$$ for the auction :) I knew you'd come up with the perfect finish AND get it done, lol. You definitely work well under pressure!

Oh my, how beautiful! Gorgeous work! I love waking to the call of the loon at our cottage on Georgian Bay. You must be so proud of this accomplishment. Congrats!

This is amazingly beautiful. Loons are my favorite bird. I actually heard some in the city a couple of days ago. From your neighbor in Minnesota, Karen

Hi Corina,
I'm the author of the poem Loon Echos, your inspiration for the quilt, which by the way is awesome. Were you able to make a good donation with it?
thanks

Hi! I was reading Patricia's loon poem, trying to get inspiration for a blog post when I saw your comment about the quilt...which brought me here. Your quilt is fabulous!
